I got diagnosed with a gluten allergy over christmas break

And I’ve done SUCH a good job with keeping gf since then. I’ve only cheated like, two or three times, and each time my stomach was so miserable that I don’t even crave gluten anymore.

But.

Every single person I talk to about going GF mentions weightloss with it. “The first month I did it I lost 20 pounds!” I heard from two different people.

I’ve been doing it for two months. And I haven’t lost a single pound. Yet another example of my body being broken. It doesn’t lose weight. It never has. Fuck my life.

Just purchased New Rules of Lifting for Women

I’m super excited. I’ve been lifting on my own for a bit but I’ve never followed a lifting program.

Anyone have any experience with it?

but seriously how is my roommate so skinny when all I’ve ever seen her eat is ramen, bags of goldfish crackers, and oreos?

UGH

But seriously how do these things only have 100 calories? HOW?

So I just bought some dumbells because I want to work out in my room.

What are some people’s favorite exercises with them? I want to change up my routine.

Just had a cake pop from starbucks

Just goes to show my tastes are changing because

MAN

I used to think they were the most delicious thing ever but I think I just exploded from calories and fake stuff.

NSV #1

I just realized that a year ago, I was at the point where I never thought I could lose weight.

I’d pretty much given up and realized I was destined to hate myself forever.

Now I’ve begun the process of loving myself and getting healthy.

Sometimes I need to appreciate the mindset changes as much as the physical ones.

So today was one of those days where I looked in the mirror and liked myself

These days are rare. I need to appreciate them.

No because I can pronounce High Fructose Corn Syrup but I don’t want to eat that.

So I have Lyme Disease

Just got diagnosed, and I’m on antibiotics and stuff.

But for the next month basically I will be feeling terrible, not able to eat much or workout at all.

I’m so frustrated, because I’ve been totally on track this summer- started at 130ish and now I’m at 123, and yeah it’s slow but that’s the rate I wanted.

But now I have to break the habits that I worked really, really hard to get into just because of a stupid tick that stupidly bit me and ugh.

Any advice of like, lyme disease/general sickness friendly active activities?
